Aunt Nancy's Sinful Brownies
One 14 ounce package of caramels
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 package German chocolate cake mix
one six ounce package chocolate chips
¾ cup melted margarine
one cup nuts
Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees. Melt caramels in 1/3 cup milk using a water bath – keep warm. Mix cake mix with 1/3 cup milk, nuts, margarine until it hangs together. Spread half of dough in 9 X 13 pan sprayed with Pam. Bake for six minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle the chips, pour on caramel. Sprinkle on left over dough. Cook 15 minutes at 350 degrees
Cool on Cupboard for 15 minutes, refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut immediately. After you've cut the brownies put the pan back in the frig to finish the cooling process.
Note: Do not refrigerate for more than 30 minutes before cutting, the brownies will turn rock hard.
